Environmental Benefits of Solar

There is no question that solar electric technology is beneficial to the environment, especially when compared to traditional coal burning methods. To be able to produce energy utilizing the sustainable fuel source of the sun means you are not only doing it with zero carbon emissions, but you are actually offsetting pollutants such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrous oxides and mercury. These pollutants are typically strewn out into the atmosphere when electricity is generated from burning coal only to end up in our surface waters, food chain and air we breathe.

Solar electric systems reduce the need for this energy generation method and thus offset these negative impacts. In order to bring these benefits into the mainstream these carbon offsets are communicated through real life examples such as miles not driven, cars taken off the road, homes powered annually as seen within the monitoring software we install with our systems.

Facilities dedicated to protecting the natural resources of tomorrow are cementing themselves as a progressive leader in today’s nationwide campaign of environmental stewardship by choosing distributed energy generation in the form of solar photovoltaics. Our company believes that in order for this clean renewable energy source to become widely used it must be presented in a way that also makes economic sense to our clients.  Our goal is to achieve environmental stewardship utilizing market driven methods.
